Connection instruction for Windows XP users
STEP 1
Turn on your WiFi adapter. A wireless network icon will appear in the right-hand bottom corner of the screen.
STEP 2
Right-click on this icon and select "View Available Wireless Networks".
STEP 3
Select HOTNET from the list of available networks and press "Connect" (if the list of available networks does no appear, press "Refresh").
STEP 4
Your adapter should connect to the network automatically and acquire an IP-address. If this does not happen make sure that your connection properties provide for automatic acquisition of IP and DNS-server addresses. To do that:
Open the "Network Connections" folder (Start > Configuration > Network Connections) and right-click on the "Wireless Network Connection" option
Select "Properties". A window will open in which you will need to select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and then press "Properties".
Make sure that the following options are enabled in the next window: "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically."
STEP 5
Start Internet Explorer or the browser that you usually use to access the Internet. You will be taken to the start page. Enter your username and password and press "Enter."
If you are not yet a HOTNET user, please select "
Registration" and follow the instructions. Save your username and the password.
